The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has awarded certificates of graduation for NC1 and NC2 trainees of shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) after 20 days of intensive training.
A hundred and eighty nine young men and women completed the SMAW training. Municipal Mayor Rafael A. Tanjuatco and TESDA provincial director Velma Salazar awarded the certificates at the graduation rites July 4.
Salazar praised the students in her message and said TESDA Tanay is one of the most consistent municipalities in Rizal in terms of commitment, improvement of facilities, and quality of training.
Tanjuatco also encouraged the certificate holders to be proud of what they have achieved and urged them to move forward and put to action what they have learned from the training by finding jobs.
