Tuguegarao City – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the cancellation of the Career Executive Officer Examination (CESO) third level regular and Supplemental Written Examination.
CSC Director Neil Agustin said the regular examination scheduled on June 9, 2008 has been cancelled based on the agreement between the CSC and the Career Executive Service Board (CESB).
He also said that the conduct of the Supplemental Written Examination (SWE) covering the CEOE written test conducted on June 10, 2007 will be held simultaneously with the Career Service Examination-paper and pencil test (CSE-PPT) on July 27, 2008.
The CEOE Written Exam is the first of four stages that is intended to measure the applicants’ aptitude and competence, and to predict their job performance.
The SWE on the other hand, is given those examinees who failed in one competency area but has met the aggregate cutoff score determined by the Civil Service Commission.
The cancellation of the third level examination is in the light of the review/evaluation of existing policies and regulations governing the Career Executive Service positions and the managerial and executive positions in the career service other than presidential appointees, Agustin said.
Those who have submitted their application are advised to coordinate with the examination Services Division for the proper reimbursement of their examination fee.
