Assessment and Promotion:

Elementary students are promoted from one grade to the next provided that the meet the achievement standards set for the grade.  In grades one through six, students are rated in every subject four times during the year.  After satisfactorily completing the six-year elementary curriculum, students receive a certificate of graduation from elementary school. No examination is required for admission to public secondary schools.
